The innovative start-up BeDimensional S.p.A. was born as a spin-off company of IIT - Italian Institute of Technology and its activity is based on two main directions:
• To produce graphene and other two-dimensional crystals on an industrial scale, maintaining a high quality standard of the product.
• Offer unique and customized solutions to improve and innovate the performance of our customers’ products, changing the material through the use of our two-dimensional crystals and the application of our know-how with scientific method.
BeDimensional, thanks to its scientific know-how, has developed specific methods to integrate graphene or other 2D crystals in thermoplastic polymers, thermosetting polymers, rubber, liquid dispersions or in the formulation of inks for the realization of functional coatings.
With our additives we can improve, for example, the mechanical properties and electrical and/or thermal conductivity of a polymer, giving it greater resistance and speed of heat dissipation than standard products currently on the market. Or we can improve these properties in a membrane, drastically reducing
abrasion-induced wear and making it multi-functional. These are just a few examples, the improvements and possibilities are countless.
The sectors to which we refer and for which the solutions created can have a fundamental importance for the realization of materials and / or devices of new conception are many: Aeronautics, Aerospace, Automotive, Construction, Electronics, Energy, Rail, Nautical, Optics, Sport, Textile.
