The “DITECFER Railway Innovation Contest” is created.
The initiative aims to select each year, through an open selection process, the 3 most promising innovations for the railway sector with TRL >6 developed in Tuscany (in the first 2 editions) and in Italy (from the following ones).
The 3 winners, awarded as “DITECFER Railway Innovation Leaders”, represent Italy in the “ERCI Innovation Award”, the European contest launched the same year by ERCI-European Railway Clusters Initiative.
