STARS Tutorial organised by Teknopark Istanbul in the framework of the STARS project, coordinated by DITECFER.

In this STARS Tutorial, you will learn about Advanced Materials utilized in Railway systems. The term advanced materials refer to examples from advanced alloys, technical ceramics, polymers, fiber reinforced composites as well as emerging smart materials and relevant micro/nano fabrication approaches. We will also dive in to the current trends and possible future strategies to decrease carbon foot print and improve sustainability.
