LAUNCH “STARS HACK&MATCH EVENT #2” ON “BIG DATA FOR RAILWAY PROCESSES, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES”
Launch of the 2nd edition of the “STARS Hack&Match event”, this time dedicated to Big data for Railway Processes, Products and Services.
Agenda:
- Presentation of the STARS project
- Keynote about challenges “Big Data for Railway Processes, Products and Services”.
- Presentation of the Hack&Match event #2 agenda & functioning
- Launch of the teams working part.
The initiative aims to help the Rail supply industry retain and/or improve performance and competitiveness – with special attention to SMEs – identifying the hottest challenges and helping match needs and ideas/solutions through:
Hackathon:
- CALL FOR CHALLENGES: SMEs having a challenge to address should register at this link until January 5th
- CALL FOR SOLUTIONS: SMEs having ideas/solutions to propose should register from January 9th at the link that will be provided on this website
- January 25th launch of the Hackathon, inspirational key-note speech, further explanations and tutorship moment

Matchmaking:
In parallel it will be possible to meet European companies (above all “tech-savvy SMEs”) able to provide smart solutions or support for own needs, and discuss about possible collaborations. This is the Matchmaking part, and registrations can be done at this link (the registration will remain valid for all the future Hackathons and for any other business opportunities).
